Exploring Petra in Jordan

We made it to the hotel just in time to have yet another lamb, hummus and pita bread dinner. The food in
Jordan is pretty much same as everywhere else in the Middle East. Lots of lamb, some chicken and maybe fish. Lamb is cooked with saffron rice, eggplants and potatoes in a huge pot, kept in the oven for hours…keep reading

We just returned from the most fantastic trip ever.  You arranged a beautiful itinerary for us that was absolutely brilliant.
Let’s start with Emirates Airlines.   If that is not the best airline in the world, what is?   My gosh, they are absolutely wonderful and now I only want to go places where we can hub through Dubai.

Dubai, Part 4

After departing Dar a few of us chose to spend a couple of nights in Dubai. We selected the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, reserving “tower rooms,” which included daily breakfast at Mosaico Restaurant, meet and greet service at the airport and round-trip airport transfers. We also contacted our preferred destination operator in Dubai to arrange our tours.
