Off to Botswana, in Southern Africa, and Orient Express Safaris.
In the next 6 days we spent 3 nights at Khwai River Lodge and 2 nights at Eagle Island Camp, Botswana. Both camps are in the Okavango Delta. Accommodations at both were everything we expected from a luxury safari experience. One of our favorite destinations in Southern Africa is Botswana. Because of the importance of the Okavanga Delta as a water source, Botswana offers a varied landscape and exceptional wildlife viewing experiences. You can reach Botswana via a two-hour flight from Johannesburg.

All our lives we have looked at those mystical pictures of Machu Picchu and wondered would we ever get to visit this magical place in Peru. Well we just returned, and words cannot describe the awesome beauty but we will try.
